FileLite is an image compression and conversion tool designed for web developers, editors, designers, and other creators who work with visuals. Users can purchase a lifetime license to access all features of FileLite.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a license and use FileLite. By using our service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

FileLite is available for purchase as a one-time payment for lifetime access. Once you purchase a license, you receive access to all current features and all future updates included at no additional cost.

License Scope: Each license is tied to your account and allows you to use FileLite on your personal devices. You may install and use FileLite on multiple devices that you own and control, as long as you are the primary user of those devices.

Commercial Use: Your license allows you to use FileLite for both personal and commercial purposes. You may use FileLite to process images for your business, clients, or projects.

License Transfer: Licenses are non-transferable and tied to your account. If you need to change devices, you can re-authenticate on your new device using your account credentials.

Minimal Data Collection: FileLite only collects and stores the absolute minimum data required to issue authentication tokens and manage your account. This includes your email address when you create an account or purchase a license. This data is used solely for account authentication and license verification - it is not used for any other purpose, including analytics, marketing, or tracking.

No Image Data: FileLite does not collect, store, or transmit your images. All image processing happens locally on your device. We have no access to your images, compression statistics, usage patterns, or any other application activity.

Fully Private: Your data is stored only to issue tokens and verify your license. We do not analyze, track, or use your data for any other purpose. Your privacy is our priority. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Local Processing: FileLite processes all images entirely on your device. Your images never leave your computer and are never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties. This ensures complete privacy and security of your files.

Privacy-Friendly Analytics: Our website uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data. Umami respects Do Not Track settings and all analytics data is fully anonymous. The desktop application operates entirely offline after installation, and all image processing is performed locally.

Data Security: Since all processing happens locally, your images are protected by your device's security measures. You are solely responsible for backing up your files and ensuring their security.

You may use FileLite to compress and convert images for personal or commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process any images you use with FileLite.

You agree not to use FileLite for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service or violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Payment Processing: License purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Your payment information is handled by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy. We do not store or have access to your payment card details.

Refund Policy: All license purchases are final. Due to the nature of our digital services, we do not offer refunds for FileLite licenses once a purchase has been completed and access to our platform has been granted. This policy is in place because digital services cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, and once accessed, the service benefits cannot be retrieved.
